2017 2018 Toyota Hilux Revo Thailand is on sale at Thaliand largest Toyota Hilxu Revo Thailand Dealer and exporter. It will now replace Toyota Hilux Vigo and Toyota Hilux Vigo Champ. Revo (short for Revolution) is now ready to be exported. As you will notice that not only the exterior and interior of the new model Hilux have changed but the name has also been changed. Auto transmission Revo now comes in 6 speeds and manual in 5 speeds. It comes armed with new Toyota ESTEC GD 2500 cc VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) turbo diesel delivering 150PS (148hp) with 343 Nm of torque for the 5 speed manual and 167PS (165hp) with 400 Nm for the 6 speed auto while 2800 turbo diesel VNT engine will offer 177PS (175hp) with 420 Nm for the manual and 450 Nm for auto version. The 2700 cc Dual VVT-i Petrol engine naturally-aspirated gasoline four-cylinder will offer 166PS (164hp). Revo as it name suggest has some new revolutionary technologies including Active Safety Features as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system which is a step up from all the current braking technologies. Toyota Safety Sense has also been implemented in this new model Hilux.

This All New Hilux Full Change Model Revo will be a major change model and is expected May of 2015. This Full Change is a full size model. The Next Generation 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo looks very curvaceous and a new re-think of Hilux traditional look. The grill in front will be two slimmer horizontal bars going all the way to the headlights, the rear curves inward much like Triton. Rear bumper is much nicer looking and side step is more discreet. Bonnet has a more advanced lift. Both its cabin and bed are bigger in length and width making it an almost full size pickup truck. Not only will it be more spacious in the front you can now carry more load in the back. Luxuriousness and comfort of the cabin will also increase. It will have higher horsepower and torque. Hybrid version cannot be that far away.

The reshaped side window line incorporates a kicked-back C-pillar and the A-pillars also appear to flow into the bonnet line more smoothly. There is a new-look front end with redesigned headlights, a bold Toyota-signature lower air intake and a slightly different rear-end with re-profiled bumpers.

2014 Toyota Hilux Next Generation Minor Change model is available now at Jim Autos. This 8th Generation Major Change Hilux has been released as 2015 Major Change Model and is technically 20.

Toyota Hilux Vigo remains world's best selling pickup truck so Toyota chose to play it safe in 2014 and only released a minor change model. It waited for 2015 to release 2016 Next Model Toyota hilux Revo which by all accounts is a major change new model. Toyota has completely overhauled Toyota Hilux's interiors and exteriors and has given it a fresh new look. Some say it is a cross between Toyota Highlander and Volkswagen Amarok. Toyota has seen all the recent changes made in 2015 Ford Ranger especially in Wildtrak model and 2015 Mazda BT-50 All New BT-50, 2015 Nissan Navara NP-300 and 2015 Isuzu Dmax. It is expected that it has kept all these new trucks in mind when creating the 2015 Next Generation Hilux. 2015 Mitsubishi L200 Triton has been released.

1. 2016 Toyota Hilux 2.4 2GD Manual – 150PS and 343Nm of torque between 1400 and 3400rpm, 5-speed manual transmission.
2. 2016 Toyota Hilux 2.8 1GD Manual – 177PS and 420Nm of torque between 1400 and 2600rpm, 6-speed manual transmission.

6 Speed Manual Transmission Hilux Revo

Toyota Hilux Revo comes with a very refined interior. All materials are top notch. Seating is car like and made of luxurious leather. Front dashboard is dominated by a tablet size screen. The three pronged steering wheel is now ergonomic and has stereo controls and climate control buttons.

Toyota Australia Technical Centre, in Notting Hill near Melbourne will be in charge of chassis tuning for next generation HiLux pickup trucks destined for the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Some of the items they will be overseeing are ride and handling tuning, along with the integration of ESC and other new-age chassis aids across all models for the first time in HiLux. There are also rumours of an AWD model but we won't hold our breath for it.

Expected Changes in Next Gen 2015 Hilux Toyota Revo 2016

Toyota is hoping that you will fall in love all over again with all the changes it is planning for the aging Hilux. Some changes expected in New Model New Shape 2015 Major Change Toyota Hilux are as follows:

• New Grill and front and rear lighting
• Better ride and handling
• Much better Suspension to reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). Much better shock absorbers
• Increase braked towing capacity to at least 3000kg from the current 2500kg
• Add more active and passive safety features
• It will NOT retain 2500 cc D-4D Diesel 2KD Engine or 3000 cc D-4D Diesel 1KD engine. D-4D engine will be replaced by the new revolutionary ESTEC GD 2400 cc and 2800 cc diesel engine. 2700 cc Gasoline (Petrol) Dual VVT-i DOHC I4 is retained, jury is still out on whether 4000 cc Gasoline (Petrol) VVT-i DOHC V-6 will be retained but horsepower and torque will be increased on all models
• European steering box instead of the current Japanese steering box
• Electronic Stability Control will be added to all Hilux models.
• New advanced safety features as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system are being added.
• Current life springs will be replaced by sturdier coil-sprung live axle
