In some months price of an equivalent Extra Cab is the same as the price of a used Double Cab and customers in some countries are still willing to buy them because of the advantage they get in Custom duty.
Extended Cab has both Commercial and local uses. Since it has some searting capacity in the cab it can seat a driver and 4 passengers but since it has a larger bed than a Single Cab it can still pick a hefty load.
